Position and size

Itna is one of the largest upazilas of Bangladesh. Its area is 503 square kilometers. Location of 24-23 'north latitude 24-38' north latitude and 90-46 'east longitudes to 91-14' in the area of Itna upazila across East longitude.

Borders

Karimganj and Tarail upazilas of Kishoreganj district on the west, Madan and Khaliajuri upazilas of Netrokona district on the north, Azimirganj upazila of Sula and Habiganj districts of Sunamganj district and Mithamain upazila of Kishoreganj district on the south.
